Luis Eduardo Romero has been a licensed freelance translator for over ten years and resides in Armenia, Colombia. Luis graduated from the City University of New York – City College with a bachelor’s degree in English, and also graduated from the Universidad Católica de Manizales with a master’s degree in Education (Especialización en Educación Personalizada). He has years of experience translating documents in many different fields including law, medicine, immigration and education. He is a member of the Colombian Association of Translators and Interpreters, is a licensed translator and interpreter, is a specialist in education, and is registered as an official translator with the Department of Foreign Affairs in Colombia (Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores). Mr. Romero is formerly a professor of English and Mathematics at the Universidad La Gran Colombia in Armenia.

Paulette resides in Astoria, New York and graduated with honors from the City University of New York – LaGuardia Community College with an associate’s degree in Business Management. She is currently pursuing a degree in Corporate Communication at CUNY’s Baruch College. Paulette has 11 years experience employed as a legal secretary in law firms throughout New York City, and is a Notary Public for the State of New York. Paulette’s duties include editing and proofreading Spanish to English translations and is the online business manager for the website. In the future, she plans to pursue a certificate in translation studies. Paulette is also the owner and operator of Rhythm Virtual Solutions, a virtual assistant business that offers online business solutions to small business owners.
